George Mason University Korea is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual for a part-time position in Spanish Language Instruction for the Spring 2025 semester, beginning mid-February 2025.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic, innovative individual to teach Elementary Spanish II (SPAN 102). This is a one-semester Adjunct Faculty position.
The Spring 2025 course schedule is fixed and noted below.
- Monday/Wednesday 18:30-19:45

Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Master's degree in Spanish or a related field by December 2024.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching
- Proven ability to collaborate with faculty of multiple disciplines.
- Share the department's commitment to Inclusive Excellence in transdisciplinary education and research.
- Ability to use campus technology tools used to teach in multiple modalities (Canvas, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, Zoom, etc.) and willingness to adapt to new technologies that might be adopted by the campus in the future.
- Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a PhD in Spanish or related field by December 2024.
- Experience teaching diverse students and working effectively in diverse teams.
- International teaching experience.
