What the hiring manager says

"Our team brings together the public and private sectors, helping them transform lives through access to mobile. We provide tailored programmes within unique environments to facilitate government and industry debate, and knowledge sharing, contributing to the advocacy activities the GSMA conducts on behalf of its members.

The ideal candidate will have a mature and resilient personality and is adaptable to a busy and fast-paced professional environment. Exposure to the mobile industry is not required, and we welcome recent graduates or students looking for work placement experience. The right cultural fit within our diverse international team is also important for us.

This is a great chance to be part of a team where your work makes an impact and contributes to the transformation of many aspects of daily life in both developed and developing countries."

About the Team

The team is led by the Director, Government Convening and is comprised of a senior manager, a manager, and 2-5 coordinators, working closely with operations, content, marketing and regional teams.

Our flagship event is the Ministerial Programme at MWC Barcelona, which brings together the most influential telecommunications leaders from across the world. About You

You must be fluent in both Spanish and English and feel comfortable speaking over the phone and reading and writing correspondence in Spanish.

You are self-motivated and committed, able to work autonomously as well as being a strong team player. You have excellent personal organisation, prioritisation, and workload management skills.
