Supervisor - Accounts Payable (Spanish), where you'll lead a dedicated team and manage critical processes across multiple countries. What you will be doingPeople Leadership: - Develop and train team members, focusing on Officers and below.
- Implement coaching and performance improvement plans.
- Support GBS strategy implementation.
Process Leadership: - Manage team/process, ensuring alignment and communication.
- Drive and support process improvement projects.
- Maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal control standards.
- Support integration of new processes.
Operations: - Ensure all KPIs are met.
- Provide accurate performance reporting.
- Monitor team attendance, leaves, and overtime.
- Review and approve invoices and payments.
- Coordinate with Procurement on ageing GRIR items.
- Review monthly Cash Clearing and Reconciliation Reports.
- Administer and monitor bank access.
- Prepare vendor account analysis.
- Produce various operational reports.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
- Assist with month/year-end closing and audits.
- Ensure stakeholder needs against agreed SLAs are met.
- Lead and facilitate weekly and/or pre-close/post close stakeholder meeting with key regional contacts for a purpose to gather feedback and agreed action plans.
- Supervise day-to-day team activities and productivity.
Ad Hoc Duties: - Act as back up for Workstream Lead for follow-up meetings and reporting with GBS and Orica Management, regardless of the Region.
- Act as a peer back-up for meetings, reporting and day to day activities.
What you will bring - At least 5 years of relevant experience within the Finance / Accounting department of a large corporate organisation, including 3 years of direct people management experience
- Possess strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices and internal policy
- Well versed with ERP and other business / accounting tools
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (proficiency in conversational and business English and Spanish language both written and verbal).
- Experience in implementing financial process improvement initiatives would be required
- Able to work from 8PM to 5AM in PH time zone.
