About the roleTo teach Spanish (KS3, KS4 and KS5) and French (KS3) across the 11-18 age group and support the personal development of children within their tutor group. To provide excellent, inspirational and dedicated teaching in a safe and stimulating environment.
The successful candidate will be a part of a team of full-time and part-time teachers who will teach Spanish to pupils in KS3 (Years 7-9), KS4 (Years 10-11) and KS5 (Years 12-13) and take responsibility for promoting, coordinating and participating in the departments' activities throughout the school year via after-school clubs, enrichment activities, guest-speakers, themed weeks, house competitions and residential trips. The successful candidate will be expected to plan lessons and schemes of work both independently and collaboratively with the MFL Department that address the various needs of both our individual pupils and the wider cohort.. Contribute to the creation of departmental development plans, policies, curriculum documents, risk assessments etc. in liaison with the MFL Department and the Senior Leadership Team.

Who we are looking for:We are looking for an individual with a Degree in MFL or a related subject and/or a PGCE in MFL with another undergraduate degree. We are looking to onboard an individual with experience of working with young adults via teaching or other roles. Successful Candidate will possess the ability to make Spanish and French accessible to a range of mixed ability students, including gifted children and those with additional needs.
