About Workwide
What is Workwide and what do you do?
Workwide Group is a recruitment technology company founded in 2014 in Sweden. On our website, you will find the biggest selection of Spanish jobs abroad. We partner with selected, top-rated employers around Europe and to help you find a job outside your home country.
Most of our team members have moved to Sweden from abroad to work for our company. We are a young team with a mix of nationalities and a common passion for exploring the world. We believe that living in new countries and experiencing new cultures is something tremendously valuable.
What is the difference between Workwide and Workwide Recruit?
Workwide is a digital recruitment platform. Here you will find job advertisements directly from international employers as well as our own Workwide Recruit jobs. Workwide Recruit is our recruitment service team who are actively working with and helping the best companies to recruit new colleagues. For the Workwide Recruit positions our recruitment team will personally handle your application, conduct interviews, give you advice and support you throughout the recruitment process and move abroad. Our recruiters will also be able to recommend other suitable positions that you might not have discovered yourself.
For direct job advertisements from external employers, your application goes directly to their HR department who will then take care of all recruitment processes without Workwide’s involvement. You can spot a Workwide Recruit job by looking for the Personal Service label. All jobs without this label are external employers who are recruiting for themselves.
Why should I create an account?
With a Workwide account you can save your CV and share information about where and in which field you would like to work. This means that you can easily apply to a multitude of jobs without having to re-upload your CV every time. And when you give us information about your plans, we can contact you with specific job opportunities that meet your wishes based on your profile. We also plan to add features such as discounts on valuable expat products and services, community and event possibilities.
Who is reading my application and CV?
If you are applying for a job with an external employer, your application will be forwarded to their HR department, and they will take care of your application and the entire hiring process.
If you apply to a job from Workwide Recruit, our recruitment team will handle your application. Our team will review your application, schedule and do an intro call to answer any questions you might have. They will also help you with exploring all the possibilities that are open but not be visible to you! Read more about Workwide Recruit here.

About our jobs and application process
Which roles and jobs can I find on Workwide?
Workwide works with companies who need multilingual talent such as you all around Europe and sometimes beyond Europe. You can find Customer Service, Sales, Communication, Marketing and Tourism roles and many more! We have both entry level jobs and more senior roles. We mostly work with large, global companies but sometimes we have opportunities in startups and mid-sized companies too. Most of our clients come from the Business Services Sector, the iGaming industry and from the technology industry more broadly. Companies we’re currently working with or have previously worked with includes Apple, Mercedes-Benz, Klarna, Netflix, Lufthansa and Bet365.
Do I have to speak several languages? What does language talent and multilingual talent mean?
For most jobs you will need to be able to communicate in two languages, English and German. Your English levels doesn’t have to be amazing but most of the time must be good enough to communicate with your colleagues socially. You may not see yourself as a language talent, but your native German language is a big competitive advantage!
One of the main reason our clients are recruiting people from abroad is that they need new team members that speak specific languages. Most of the time, your daily work will be conducted in your native language while internal office communication will be in English.
If you do speak more languages, you will of course be in even higher demand for employers.
What working hours can I expect?
If not stated otherwise in the job description, our clients offer full-time contracts which usually means 35-40 working hours per week, depending on local regulations. These hours may be set within normal office hours Monday-Friday or in rotational shifts all throughout the week. The shift structure depends on the role and will require flexibility from you to be able to work evenings and/or weekends.
If you apply with Workwide Recruit, we always inform you about the working hours, potential shift requirement and anything else related to the specific job that you applied for during our initial call.
What can I expect from the introduction and training?
Your future employer will provide you with an initial training period to get you up to speed on the work and your new workplace. You will, in most cases, be in a team of others who also just joined the company from abroad and therefore also be naturally introduced to your new colleagues. Some of our clients will have training in your native language while others offer their training in English. The length of the introductory training period differs per job and employer but tends to be between 1-4 weeks, with some exceptions.
Will the introduction and training be paid?
All of our clients' introductions are either fully or partially paid.
Do I need to need to move to get the job?
Yes, all our jobs require you to move to the country where the employer’s office is located. Our mission is to help you find a job abroad and experience new countries.
If you are wondering about how to go about when moving to a new country we have an extensive collection of country guides and articles in our Blog section. Make sure to check them out or get in contact with us!
If you are worried about accommodation, we suggest our Apartment page where we have apartments all over the world from vetted landlords and secure payments.
Many of the companies we partner with do also offer a relocation package.
What does Relocation support mean?
Many companies we partner with offer a relocation package. This means they will help you with your move, either financially or logistically, or even both. The extent of the relocation support varies from employer to employer. But usual perks are paid flight tickets, paid accommodation for first couple of weeks and practical help with any bureaucratic issues. The employers are used to welcome expats and know which parts of the process can be challenging and will stand by your side.
What can I expect in terms of probation, notice period and overtime?
Our clients' policies regarding overtime and compensation as well as periods for notice and probation are defined by the law of the country where the company is located. Notice and probation periods are normally defined in the employment contract. We always do our best to inform you about this, however, we strongly recommend that you bring these questions up directly with your future employer.
Do I need to be a EU citizen to apply for your jobs?
Due to contract regulations with our client and the lengthy Visa processes involved, we can only proceed with candidates that hold a valid EU/EEA Citizenship or working permit for the country in question. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope you understand.
For jobs outside of the EU, regulations may be different and local legislation determine Visa regulations.
I want to move abroad in 6 months, can I apply for your jobs already?
Typically, employers are looking for candidates who are available within 1-3 months. However, we recommend you to apply anyway, as many employers have more starting dates or other projects that could be interesting to you. You can also create an account where you can enter your possible starting date. This way, we can get in touch with you when the starting date approaches!

As a general rule, moving to a new country and into a new apartment have costs such as first rent (and deposit), furniture, appliances, gear, public transport, phone subscription, food and more.
It’s also important that you keep in mind some unexpected costs you might face during your first month.
Do I need a travel insurance?
Travel insurance usually covers expenses of a short trip or stay in a foreign country. As you are moving abroad for work, normal travel insurances will only cover your relocation and most likely not be eligible during your entire stay. In order to get one that covers you for a longer time, you can contact your current insurance provider to explore alternatives.
Keep in mind that most travel insurances have limitations in connection to pandemics, we recommend always checking your current insurance details before making an assumption.
Do I pay taxes in the new country or in my home country?
As employers are offering local working contracts you will within the EU be required to register within 90 days. This means you will be integrated into the local system and pay income tax in your new country. This income will not be subject to taxation in your home country.

I have been invited for a job interview for a Workwide Recruit job, what can I expect? Do I need to prepare anything?
First, we look forward to speaking with you! Typically, our calls will take about 20-30 minutes. The recruiter will introduce the company and position you have applied for. We will ask you about your previous work experience, why you have applied for this job and about your thoughts on relocating in general. We see this as a chance to get to know you and are there to help you. If we think that your profile fits what the company is looking for, we will forward your CV to the employer who then will take over the next steps in the hiring process.
If we have other job opportunities for you and you are interested to learn about them, the recruiters will be presenting those opportunities to you as well.
