About the Role:

This full-time, permanent position commencing in September offers a stimulating environment to cultivate a passion for languages and cultural understanding among students in Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging and innovative French and Spanish lessons that inspire students and promote a love of language learning.
• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum, fostering the acquisition of language skills and cultural knowledge.
• Assess student progress meticulously, providing constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel empowered to explore language and culture with confidence.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the modern foreign languages department and the broader school community to ensure a cohesive learning experience for all students.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching French and Spanish at the secondary level.
• A deep understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements formodern foreign languages.
• Fluency in both French and Spanish, with a passion for imparting language skills and cultural appreciation.
