Spanish teacher- Dynamic school in Haringey- September start

Responsibilities
  • Delivering engaging Spanish lessons to primary/secondary students, following the school's curriculum guidelines.
  • Planning and preparing lessons that cater to the individual needs of students, ensuring differentiation and inclusion.
  • Assessing and monitoring students' progress, providing constructive feedback and tracking their development.
  • Creating a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for the Spanish language and culture.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop educational resources and share best practices.
  • Communicating effectively with parents, providing regular updates on students' progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Participating in school events and extra-curricular activities, promoting the school's inclusive ethos.

Requirements
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Spanish at primary/secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the Spanish language and proficiency in oral and written communication.
  • Familiarity with the national curriculum and up-to-date teaching methods.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, for collaborating with students, colleagues, and parents.
