As the dedicated Spanish teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons tailored to either primary or secondary students. Responsibilities - Plan and deliver Spanish lessons that are age-appropriate and aligned with the curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to drive their learning
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to cater to students with diverse learning needs
- Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, achievements, and behaviour
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement cross-curricular activities and projects
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on students' progress and address any concerns
Requirements - Hold a relevant teaching qualification and have qualified teacher status (QTS)
- Possess a strong knowledge of the Spanish language, culture, and literature
- Experience teaching Spanish to primary or secondary students is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging and interactive lessons that cater to students' individual needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues
- Strong organizational skills to manage lesson planning, assessments, and administrative tasks effectively
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying informed about current educational best practices
