About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position commencing in September 2024. In this role, you will:

• Develop and deliver engaging and effective Spanish lessons for Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students, fostering a love for the language and Hispanic cultures.
• Create and implement innovative lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum and the school's curriculum framework.
• Employ a range of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to support student progress in Spanish language acquisition.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the MFL department to share best practices and continuously improve the Spanish curriculum.
• Remain current with the latest developments in Spanish language teaching methodologies.

The Ideal Candidate

• Possesses a degree in Spanish or a related field.
• Holds a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification.
• Demonstrates a minimum of two years' successful experience teaching Spanish to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Exhibits a strong work ethic, a passion for languages, and a commitment to student success.
• Enjoys working collaboratively in a supportive and dynamic team environment.
