We are currently recruiting an Apprentice Secondary Teacher of Spanish to join our supportive and forward-thinking school community. This role offers the opportunity to train as a teacher while working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (with the option of also gaining a PGCE). The successful candidate will carry out the duties of an apprentice teacher under the guidance of the Head Teacher and experienced colleagues.
Key Responsibilities: - Attend all apprenticeship training and complete required assessments.
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons.
- Promote positive behaviour and a safe learning environment.
- Support pupil progress and emotional development.
- Work towards meeting all Teacher Standards and completing the End Point Assessment.
Requirements: - GCSE Maths and English (grade 4/C or above or equivalent).
- An honours degree in a relevant subject.
- A passion for teaching and working with young people.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
