Job Description

We are seeking a talented individual who is fluent in Spanish and English to join our accomplished team of Contracts Specialists serving as a key contributor in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and supporting general corporate legal matters. Fluency in other European languages is a plus. In this role, the individual will need to closely work with the attorneys supporting Italy as well as other jurisdictions across the EMEA region. A successful candidate for this position must be able to work seamlessly with other team members and departments across multiple countries and cultures. The position will be based in Warsaw, Poland. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-caliber, collegial department with other dedicated legal professionals on a wide variety of matters for an innovative, publicly traded technology company. This will be temporary 12 month contract for replacement.

Your Focus:

• Negotiate Assist in negotiating the terms of commercial contracts for software, cloud and other services including within our contract lifecycle management system; (commercial licensing, cloud subscription and services)
• Promote, balance and manage company and customer/vendor interests using a high degree of ingenuity to quickly resolve issues while managing business risk;
• Regularly coordinate with and validate input from internal organizations and other members of the Legal team to facilitate contract negotiation and execution;
• Facilitate discussions with customers and vendors
• Assist with general corporate legal matters, including corporate governance, regulatory and compliance matters
• Apply judgment using multiple sources of information to resolve contractual issues; assist with project and process improvement initiatives, policies and procedures
• Anticipate and solve problems; and Regularly coordinate with and validate input from internal organizations
• Conduct legal research and assist with general corporate legal matters and initiatives as necessary

Qualifications:

• B.A. or B.S. (or equivalent) (Legal degree is not required as this is not an attorney role)
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both oral and written is a must
• Experience with, and enthusiasm for, transactional work, process improvement, legal research and other legal matters
• Ability to manage fast-paced workload in a dynamic environment and simultaneously add value to multiple projects;
• Proactive, self-starter who shows project ownership and enjoys working across departments
• Excellent organizational and verbal and written communication skills
• Experience preparing legal documents
• Precision and exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and accomplish goals
• Team player enjoys being part of a team of talented individuals
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point and Word)
