Role Overview

As part of our clients commitment to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) they are embarking on a significant Data Masking project. This initiative is aimed at ensuring the privacy and security of personal data across our client's organisation and its subsidiary companies. The primary objective is to implement GDPR measures systematically across a defined list of systems within the organisation.

As a key member of this project, your role will be instrumental in executing data masking strategies to protect sensitive information and adhere to GDPR regulations. You will collaborate with various teams within the organisation and its subsidiaries, working towards the uniform application of GDPR guidelines across a defined list of systems.

Essential skills & Responsibilities

• SQL/SQL Data Engineering experience
  • Writing SQL queries
  • Query multiple tables to join them to select records based on specific conditions
  • Perform JOIN Operations:
  • Use JOIN operations to combine data from multiple tables with main table for masking
  • Employ different types of JOINs (e.g., INNER JOIN, LEFT JOIN) based on the relationships between the tables.

• Must be fluent in speaking Spanish & English
  • Business fluent
  • Ability to translate Spanish to English and vice versa easily to aid team's understanding

• Stakeholder management
  • Experience working on projects where you have worked with stakeholders at all levels and able to articulate to the business where the project is in terms of timelines.

• This role will include utilising the Informatica Cloud platform for developing and executing the data retention rules against databases such Informix and DB2.
