About the Role:

Curriculum Development:
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the science curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the school's vision, national requirements, and the latest advancements in science education.
- Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in science pedagogy, implementing innovative approaches to enhance student learning (e.g., hands-on experiments, problem-based learning).
Building Relationships:
- Build strong and positive relationships with students, fostering their curiosity and love for science.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to enable students to reach their full potential (individualized learning plans, targeted intervention strategies).
- Cultivate a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages participation, critical thinking, and a desire to explore the natural world.
Extracurricular Activities:
- Contribute to and potentially lead extracurricular activities related to science (e.g., science clubs, competitions, STEM initiatives).
School Community:
- Actively participate in departmental and whole-school events, fostering a collaborative spirit and contributing to the wider school community.
