Lawyer (Bilingual English & Spanish)

Are you an experienced legal professional who wants the freedom and flexibility to work from anywhere? We seek a skilled and experienced Remote Lawyer to join our reputable legal organization.

As a Remote Lawyer, you will provide legal advice and representation to our clients in various areas of law. You will work remotely from your home office, using online platforms and tools to communicate with your clients, colleagues, and courts.

Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations, and help them navigate complex legal issues and disputes.
• Conduct thorough and accurate legal research, using various sources and databases, to support your legal arguments and strategies.
• Draft, review, and edit various legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, pleadings, motions, briefs, and affidavits.
• Represent clients in civil and criminal court proceedings, as well as in negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Establish and maintain strong and trusting relationships with your clients, and keep them informed of the progress and outcome of their cases.
• Collect and analyze information and evidence from clients and other parties, and determine the best course of action for each case.
• Collaborate with other lawyers and legal professionals, both within and outside our organization, to ensure the quality and efficiency of our legal services.
• Perform various administrative tasks, such as preparing and submitting reports, invoices, and correspondence, and maintaining accurate and organized records of your cases.

Requirements

• A Law degree from an accredited Law School in your country
• A valid license to practice law
• At least 2 years of experience as a lawyer, preferably in a remote setting.
• Proficient in using online platforms and tools, such as video conferencing, cloud storage, and document management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, as required by the cases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
• Willing to work on the Pacific Standard Time schedule
• Own Laptop or Desktop (8GB RAM, Core i5 or above) with an internet connection of at least 10 Mbps
