Purpose of the role

The Sales Business Developer drives revenue growth across new and existing advertisers and partners within an assigned category in the Spanish-speaking market. The role is responsible for building a pipeline, developing tailored proposals, managing commercial opportunities and converting prospects and existing clients into revenue.

The role owns a portion of the regional sales target as part of the English-speaking sales team, focusing on prospecting, outreach, proposal development, negotiations, client growth and opportunity conversion within assigned categories.

Your responsibilities

• Act as a category expert, bringing market insight, competitor intelligence and advertiser trends into the sales process.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new and existing advertiser and partner opportunities within assigned categories.
• Identify, qualify and prioritize revenue opportunities aligned with category and regional sales targets.
• Develop tailored media and partnership proposals with support from internal teams.
• Lead outreach, client meetings, commercial pitches and negotiations.
• Convert opportunities into signed deals and ensure a clear handover for campaign execution.
• Grow and nurture existing advertisers and partners by identifying upsell, cross-sell and renewal opportunities.
• Identify cross-platform sales opportunities across IAG assets.
• Build and strengthen relationships with advertisers, agencies and partners.
• Track pipeline performance, conversion rates and revenue forecasts accurately.
• Share client feedback internally to support product development and commercial improvement.

Your skills, experience and qualifications

• 5+ years of media sales experience, ideally across digital, travel, retail media or multi-platform advertising environments.
• Proven experience in cross-platform selling, including digital, VOD, press, OOH and DOOH - minimum of 2 of the 4 required attributes are needed for the role.
• Strong media agency connections in UK or IRL, with the ability to open doors and build relationships.
• Strong category experience, with deep expertise in at least one of the targeted category areas.
• Solid track record of prospecting, pitching, negotiating and converting both new and existing clients.
• Experience developing tailored media proposals and commercial pitches for advertisers and partners.
• Solid understanding of media planning, campaign performance and advertiser or partner objectives.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized and proactive, with strong pipeline management and follow-up discipline.
• Collaborative approach to working with Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations and Account Management teams.
• Commercially driven, with strong focus on revenue delivery and opportunity conversion.
• Proactive and highly organized, with strong discipline in pipeline management and follow-up.
• Strong relationship-builder with the ability to develop trust with advertisers, agencies and partners.
• Confident communicator, able to lead client conversations, pitches and negotiations.
