Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Global Payroll Associate to join our growing Global Payroll team supporting clients across the LATAM region.
In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and company standards. You will serve as a key operational partner to internal stakeholders, payroll providers, and clients, helping to drive operational excellence and deliver an exceptional payroll experience.

The ideal candidate is analytical, customer-focused, and comfortable taking ownership of payroll processes while continuously identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and compliance.

Shift: 16:00 - 00:30, Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities
• Independently manage payroll operations for assigned LATAM countries and client portfolios.
• Ensure payrolls are processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with local legislation, tax regulations, and employment laws.
• Review and validate payroll inputs, calculations, outputs, and reconciliations to ensure data integrity and payroll accuracy.
• Analyze payroll variances and investigate complex payroll issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, providing timely and professional support to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Partner with payroll providers and internal teams to resolve operational, compliance, and service delivery issues.
• Monitor payroll processing schedules and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently achieved.
• Maintain accurate payroll documentation and support audit and compliance activities.
• Stay informed of legislative and regulatory changes impacting payroll operations within assigned countries.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, and operational efficiency, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Escalate risks and compliance concerns appropriately while recommending practical solutions.
• Support knowledge sharing, onboarding, and mentoring of less experienced team members.
• Participate in client implementations, transitions, and process enhancement projects as required.

Qualifications & Experience Required
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Languages, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in payroll, HR operations, finance operations, shared services, or a similar operational environment.
• Fluent Spanish language skills (written and verbal).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business productivity tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.

Preferred
• Experience supporting multi-country payroll operations.
• Knowledge of payroll processes, compliance requirements, and statutory regulations.
• Experience working with global clients or international teams.
• Portuguese language skills are an advantage.
• Experience participating in process improvement, implementation, or operational excellence initiatives.

The pay range for this position is €14,400 to €19,450 gross per year. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
