Payroll Specialist with Spanish

Join our dynamic team in Gdansk as a Payroll Specialist and become an integral part of a group of around 12 dedicated colleagues. As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering payroll services that are service-oriented and aligned with established policies, processes, and business requirements.

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service to customers and partner groups, including employees, payroll providers, local authorities, and internal stakeholders. In this role, you will provide essential support to the Payroll Team, helping to guarantee that all aspects of payroll operations run smoothly and efficiently.

About the Role

As our Payroll Specialist you will :

• Resolves complex payroll queries with employees and stakeholders using advanced oral and written communication skills including English and Spanish fluency
• Assists payroll specialists in all countries of the region
• Has a thorough understanding of international assignees and payroll nuances
• Reconciles 3rd party payments
• Resolves complex general ledger issues using advanced Excel skills
• Provides data and assists with all audits
• Assists with documentation for payroll team
• Serves as subject matter expert on regional specific items
• Leads special projects as required

About You

To be our Payroll Specialist, you will likely have:

• Language skills - fluent in English and Spanish (Italian would be an advantage)
• Interest in payroll processes, general understanding of payroll environment
• Advanced in Excel
• Strong problem solving, decision making and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication; both oral and written
• Proven ability to sustain strong customer relationships, an understanding of customer focus and service delivery
• Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Drive & self-motivation with the ability to work independently
