Are you a payroll professional with hands-on experience in Spanish payroll administration? At SIXT, we are looking for a Payroll Administration Specialist (m/f/d) to manage day-to-day payroll operations for our Spanish and Italian market. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You manage payroll administration tasks for the Spanish and Italian markets, including medical leaves, hirings, terminations, settlement calculations and job changes
• You have knowledge of Spanish Social Security / SEPE regulations and systems to effectively collaborate with our external payroll provider
• You provide daily support to employees and managers, answering questions and resolving queries related to payroll administration
• You ensure data accuracy and legal compliance across payroll systems, providers, and internal processes.
• You collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations
• You support process improvements and identify opportunities for efficiency in payroll operations

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Experience You have 1+ years of proven experience in Spanish payroll administration. Prior experience with Italian payroll is advantageous but not required, as full training will be provided
• Education You hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field
• Technical Knowledge & Systems You have solid knowledge of Spanish Social Security and SEPE regulations and platforms (Sistema Red, Contrat@, Certifc@, Delt@), along with experience working with payroll systems and HRIS tools (e.g., ADP, Workday)
• Payroll Know-how You understand termination processes (finiquitos), vacation settlements, sick leave management, and employee lifecycle administration
• Language You are fluent in English and Spanish both written and spoken
• Interpersonal Skills You communicate clearly, enjoy problem-solving, and are comfortable supporting employees and managers daily
