Quality Assurance Business Manager

About the Role

On behalf of our client, a growing organization within the food and manufacturing sector, we are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Business Manager to lead and oversee quality operations across supplier networks and production processes in Paraguay.

This is a strategic, hands-on role requiring strong field presence, technical expertise, and leadership capabilities to ensure compliance, product quality, and continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier quality management and conduct regular audits
• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Lead non-conformance investigations and implement corrective actions (CAPA)
• Manage sampling, testing procedures, and data analysis
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and ensure consistent on-site engagement
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality and operational processes

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in quality assurance, supplier auditing, or manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of:
• Sanitation and sterilization processes
• Process control and environmental monitoring
• Compliance and audit frameworks
• Proven experience in root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, CAPA)

Language Requirements

Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken)

Preferred Industry Background

• Food production / agriculture
• Manufacturing environments with supplier quality oversight

Working Conditions

• Full-time position based in Paraguay
• Significant travel within the country required
• High level of on-site presence with suppliers and operational teams

Flexible / To be agreed based on candidate availability
