Our client is an established pharmaceutical manufacturer in Hal Far, Malta, producing both active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished medicines. Around 180 people work there, from a wide mix of nationalities and age groups, and the production team is growing.

The role

As a QC Lab Analyst you will be responsible for the analysis of incoming raw materials, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient and Finished Dosage Form according to GMP Principles. Moreover, you will be required to perform QC related functions according to the exigencies of the Company.

What you will do

Sampling, analyzing, and reporting the quality of raw materials, APIs and Finished Dosage Form products
Compiling and interpreting test results
Performing equipment calibration and confirmatory analysis
Carrying out documentation and standard operation reviews and other tasks relating to Quality Control in the pharmaceutical industry

Shifts

two-shift pattern, 06:00-14:00 and 13:00-21:00, shift allowances on top

What you bring

A Diploma or a Degree in Chemistry or related scientific subject
Ideally experienced with working in a pharmaceutical environment
Extremely organized and possess excellent communications skills
Able to think critically and a good problem solver
Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
Self-motivated and have excellent attention to detail

EUR 28.000 to 32.000 gross per year plus shift allowances on top
An annual bonus of 10 percent of your salary
Permanent contract, six-month probation, full on-site training

Relocation

Only applicants that hold an EU citizenship or work permit for Malta will be considered. Travel, accommodation and the cost of the move, you arrange and pay for yourself, so plan for savings to cover your first weeks in Malta.
