Job SummaryWe are seeking for a
Lead Research Analyst to research, write, and analyze risk in investigation diligence activities! The candidate should have experience or exposure to compliance or international business, such as conducting improved diligence, and will be encouraged to demonstrate research and writing skills. This hardworking individual will bring knowledge of regional market conditions and local language capabilities to a department-and company-that continues to grow on a global scale!
Some of the Daily Tasks:- To conduct media and internet searches on companies and individuals in English, Spanish, or Portuguese.
- Investigate official sources (registrars, regulators, courts, etc.) for relevant information.
- To cooperate with external vendors (verification of provided information, placing them in a report).
- To analyze the collected information with a view to reputational, financial and integrity risk (sanctions, corruption, bribery, money laundering, terrorism financing, regulatory violations, etc).
- To prepare comprehensive reports in English and/or in Portuguese.
What do you need to bring?- Proficiency in English.
- Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
- University degree or equivalent experience preferably in international relations, political science, legal studies or business management.
- Excellent written and analytical skills including the ability to summarize sophisticated information clearly and concisely from Portuguese language into English.
- Strong research skills, including online search tools.
- Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of, and curiosity about international affairs.
- Flexibility and resourcefulness to change.
- Phenomenal teammate with a high level of initiative and proactive approach to work.
- Willingness to take ownership of tasks and issues.
