Sales Executive (Fluent Spanish)

- Open to UK-based candidates in our London office or Spain-based candidates in our Madrid office subject to having the unrestricted right to work in the relevant country.
- Fluent English & Spanish required, Catalan is a plus but not essential

As a Sales Executive working on our Digital Accountancy Show event, you'll be responsible for contributing towards the expansion of the event in Barcelona. The event has successfully run for 6 editions in the UK and the event is also launching in the USA in 2027. You will be identifying potential exhibitors, building relationships with prospective customers, and helping drive sales growth across our event portfolio.

This role would suit someone who is naturally competitive, enjoys speaking with people, and isn't afraid to pick up the phone and create opportunities. We're looking for someone with a hunter mentality who is eager to learn and develop a successful career in sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the whole sales process from first contact until the event takes place.

• Implement sales tactics to ensure the growth of the brand.

• Build a strong sales pipeline, manage relationships with prospects and sponsors.

• Become the point of contact of DAS brand in the Spanish Market.

• Approach and keep contact with relevant stakeholders (associations and industry clusters) and engage them to increase the number of exhibitors.

• Visit industry events and gatherings to increase the sales pipeline and prospects database.

• Provide an excellent post sales service, ensuring the smooth participation of his/her customers in the event.

Essential Criteria

• At least 3 years of experience in b2b sales ( stands, sponsorships, professional subscriptions, advertising ...).

• Excellent organisational skills to ensure the continued feeding of sales pipeline.

• Proactive and Self initiative.

• Fluent Spanish & English

• Salesforce knowledge / Excel / Power Point

Desirable Criteria

• Catalan language skills are a plus but not a requirement

• Experience in sales in the exhibitions/ trade show industry

• Knowledge of the software market and / or IT environment.

• Experience selling premium and / or added value services
