Job Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Director, International Markets (all genders) - Spanish Speaker, to join the International Markets team on our journey to always delivering amazing experiences.

The International Markets team

Our team is responsible for international strategy and business performance. We are a highly talented bunch and we measure our success by the impact we create in our markets. This is a high profile and high performance team with daily C-level engagement.

We:

• Drive Delivery Hero strategy and cascade it to our 70+ markets while ensuring local insights and priorities are taken onboard into global strategy and plans
• Support global and regional P&L and portfolio management and ensure mutual alignment between strategy and P&L
• Prioritize and execute value creation and performance improvement initiatives supporting our regional / local teams with a consulting yet fully hands-on approach
• Are the key point of contact between the headquarter and our regional and local management entities
• Have owner mentality, bias for action and high bar for performance

Your mission:

• Working within our Global COO's Central team, you will advise regional/local executive teams across multiple countries providing support in business analysis and operational execution
• You will be key driver and stakeholder in the countries strategy and P&L management, supporting strategy setting and ensuring P&L alignment to strategy
• You will set and own OKRs achievement with the leadership teams in the HQ and regionally at Pedidosya and Glovo
• You will be responsible for growth and performance improvement initiatives with direct revenue and cost impact at 360 degrees. You will decide what are the key topics to tackle. Your scope will be as big as you can imagine it
• You will provide senior management with regular performance updates and presentations based on multiple data sources
• You will take ownership of global cross-(functional) initiatives to strengthen our customer experience, restaurant relationships or internal processes
• You will support senior management in ad hoc projects, business cases, analysis and other critical topics
• You will work closely with local business management to consolidate and distribute best practices from different countries
• If needed, you will take interim leadership responsibilities in our local or regional entities or global functions

Your heroic skills:

• You gained at least 10+ years of professional experience (not counting internships) in a top-tier management consulting and/or industry leader (preferably retail / consumer / eCommerce / internet / technology industries)
• You are advanced in business analysis and modeling, while possessing a hands-on mentality, strong bias for action and impact oriented attitude
• You are fluent in English and Spanish
• You are highly independent and have self starter mindset
• You are motivated and communicative, very energetic, agile and solution oriented in handling business challenges, while always remaining humble
• You possess high analytical thinking skills
• You are comfortable with limited but regular travel
