We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, service-driven team player to join the Touring team.

Position Purpose

The Sanish-speaking Travel Specialist is responsible for designing, selling, coordinating, and managing tailor-made luxury travel experiences throughout East Africa for Spanish-speaking international travel partners and guests. The role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service from initial enquiry through to completion of travel while ensuring operational excellence, accuracy, profitability, and alignment with the &Beyond brand values.

Key Responsibilities:

Reservations & Sales
  • Maintain constant and consistent communication with colleagues, travel agents, tour operators, guests, and suppliers via telephone and email.
  • Build and nurture strong professional relationships with international travel partners and service providers.
  • Creatively design and plan bespoke FIT leisure itineraries across East Africa for international guests and travel partners.
  • Proactively sell company products and services while ensuring the best possible travel experience for each guest.
  • Respond promptly to enquiries and work towards converting them into confirmed bookings.
  • Manage the full reservations process from initial enquiry and quotation through to final confirmation, invoicing, and preparation of travel documentation.

Operations Coordination
  • Coordinate bookings with lodges, camps, airlines, guides, and ground handling teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor bookings from enquiry stage through to completion of travel.
  • Prepare accurate quotations, itineraries, invoices, and travel documents.
  • Ensure all guest preferences, special requests, and logistical requirements are captured and communicated effectively.
  • Maintain high levels of attention to detail to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure all turnaround times are strictly adhered to in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Deliver prompt, professional, and reliable service at all times.

Team Support
  • Provide operational support and backup for colleagues when they are away from the office.
  • Participate in weekend and public holiday duty on a rotational basis.

Product Knowledge
  • Continuously expand destination and product knowledge through training sessions, workshops, and educational opportunities.
  • Stay up to date with new safari products, lodges, experiences, and destination developments within East Africa.

Key Requirements:

Qualifications
  • Diploma, Higher Diploma, or Degree in Tourism Management or related courses.

Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in luxury safari reservations or tour consulting.
  • Experience working with international travel agents and luxury clientele.

Knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of East African safari destinations and logistics.
  • Knowledge of South and Southern Africa is an added advantage.
  • An in-depth knowledge of Tourplan or a similar booking system.
  • Working knowledge of WETU or other itinerary-building software.

Technical Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A foreign language is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in reservation systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • Strong knowledge of East African safari destinations including Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Uganda.
  • Understanding of lodges, camps, parks, conservancies, and safari logistics.
  • Ability to match guest preferences with suitable properties and experiences.

Strong ability to convert enquiries into confirmed

  • Professional and confident interaction with international travel agents and guests.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with suppliers and operational teams.

  • High level of accuracy in quotations, reservations, invoicing, and travel documentation.
  • Ability to manage complex itineraries with multiple services and destinations.

Working Conditions
  • Office-based position located at &Beyond Nairobi.
