The Role:
Provide strong and visionary leadership for the Spanish department, setting the strategic direction and ensuring the curriculum aligns with national standards and ignites a passion for the Spanish language and culture.
Lead the development and delivery of a stimulating and engaging Spanish program across all year groups (KS3, GCSE, A-Level).
Champion the importance of languages throughout the school, fostering interdisciplinary learning and global citizenship skills.
Empower and inspire a team of talented Spanish teachers, fostering professional development and a positive working environment.
Oversee the budget and resources for the Spanish department, ensuring they are effectively utilized to create an immersive learning environment.
You're a Perfect Fit If:
You hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Spanish and a proven track record of successful leadership experience in a school setting.
You possess a deep understanding of the National Curriculum for Spanish and a passion for innovative teaching methods that bring language learning to life.
You have a demonstrable fluency in Spanish and a strong understanding of Spanish culture.
You have a proven ability to motivate, inspire, and lead a team of teachers towards achieving outstanding results.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is paramount.
