Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Spanish lessons that meet the needs of students
• Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to ensure effective learning
• Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback and setting targets
• Collaborate with other teachers to ensure continuity and progression in the curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on students' progress
• Keep up to date with the latest educational developments and teaching strategies

Requirements

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
• Relevant degree in Spanish or a related subject
• Proven experience teaching Spanish at primary or secondary level
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate students
• Well-organized and able to effectively manage time and resources
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up to date with best practices in teaching and learning.
