About this Role
An opportunity has arisen at Kings Norton Girls' School and Sixth Form(KNGS) for an exceptional teacher of MFL to join us on a fixed term contractfor academic year 2026 - 2027, working 0.9 FTE (Please note this post may be available on a permanent contract from September 2027). KNGS is an OFSTED outstanding schooland is part of the West Midlands Multi Academy Trust with a comprehensiveintake and a co-educational sixth form. We are proud of our vibrant, socially and culturally diverse school,which lies in the heart of our community, and is highly regarded in our localarea and beyond. ECT applications are welcomed.
The post is available from September 2026 (January2027 start may be considered). Please note that the part-time working days for September will be confirmed during the summer term andthat the working days may change in future years based on timetable need.
This is a fantasticopportunity for an exceptional teacher of MFL to join Kings Norton Girls'School and Sixth Form. The ability to teach French and Spanish at KS3 and KS4is essential with experience at KS5 desirable. We are an outstanding school andachieve excellent pastoral and academic outcomes for students within a culture of care and concern for the well-being of bothstudents and staff. The MFL department consistentlyachieve some of the best results in the country. The faculty plays an integral role in thelife of the school, making a significant contribution to the development of keyskills and cultural understanding.
We are looking for anoutstanding practitioner to join our team and to contribute their enthusiasmand teaching skills to our work. Thesuccessful candidate will be an outstanding teacher, committed to improving learners'experiences and attainment through working collaboratively and being willing toadopt new ideas.
