About the role:
Moulsham High School is a larger than average 11-18 comprehensive school where all students consistently achieve highly. Overall progress and attainment have been well above Essex and national averages for the last 8 years. 2024's G.C.S.E. results placed us in the top 9% of all schools nationally. We are looking for a well-qualified Spanish teacher, with a commitment to continuing professional development, to join our highly successful and dedicated Modern Languages Faculty. This is a unique opportunity to work with an extremely supportive, talented and innovative languages team. All languages staff have their own rooms which are adjacent to each other in the attractive setting of the Old School and are equipped with an up-to-date smart screen and internet access. Up take for languages is high with at least 60% of Years 10 and 11 studying at a language at G.C.S.E. Spanish is also a popular post-16 option.
This vacancy has become available due to the relocation of the current postholder. The successful candidate will teach Spanish up to and including G.C.S.E. A level teaching may also be possible.
