Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Inspire students to develop a passion for languages and achieve strong outcomes
- Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and provide targeted support
- Contribute to the development of a broad and ambitious MFL curriculum
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and achievement
- Participate fully in departmental and whole-school initiatives, including enrichment opportunities
- Support the wider ethos of the school, including pastoral responsibilities as a form tutor
- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with the ability to teach Spanish to KS3 and 4
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language learning
- A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and student progress
- The ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A team player who is eager to contribute to a collaborative department
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
