About this Role
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed and dynamic teacher ofSpanish to work within our friendly and supportive team.
We want our students to be citizens of the world and believe that learninga new language will open a world of opportunities to them. Our curriculum aimsto challenge and inspire pupils to be curious about other peoples, theirtraditions, and their heritage. Our curriculum improves a pupil's communicationskills, literacy, and provides an insight into other cultures, leaving studentsconfident in the key skills of listening, reading, writing and translating. Thesekey skills are embedded in all that we do.
The successful candidate will have experience ofworking with children aged 11-16 years and be able to demonstrate they canimplement the academy's commitment to the safety and welfare of children. Theywill also demonstrate a passion for the subject, have the ability to inspirestudents, have commitment to raising participation levels in extra-curricularactivities, and have an awareness of curriculum developments across the keystages.
This position is suitable for all teachers,including those undertaking an ECT programme.
This is a part time (0.4) position - hours to be discussed at interview.
