International Study Programs has been crafting high-impact educational travel for thousands of students from academic institutions across the globe for more than 25 years. We deliver short online and on-the-ground programs for groups of mostly US business students of all levels with an emphasis on the academic and cultural experience.
We are currently seeking an organized and passionate traveller to plan & arrange logistical services for short-term study programs to various destinations throughout the world... or as we call it, a Travel Manager.
Some of your goals in the first year will include:
- Prepare precise calculations & proposals of highly customized programs for ISP clients
- Conduct approximately 11-13 study programs from a logistical point of view, potentially travel with some of them and provide support on the ground if needed
- Build strong relationships with our partners as well as with university professors and staff
- Negotiate with ISP suppliers for the best possible prices and conditions
- Research and find new or potential suppliers across our destinations
To help you feel good and excel in the role, there are just a few things you need to have:
- Excellent English (Czech language is not required)
- Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is essential
- Be highly organized, the amount of details is a challenge!
- Demonstrate independent, fast & quality work in event/travel management
- Essential computer literacy (MS Office, etc.)
- Ability to handle challenging situations
- Solid communication skills, common sense and be friends with numbers
- Previous experience in event management, project management, hospitality management, revenue management, logistical coordination, or within travel and tour agencies would be a great advantage and help you feel right at home in this position
