You combine strong underwriting expertise with international market and client exposure, playing an active role in shaping Hannover Re's reinsurance business across the Caribbean region.

You can look forward to

• Managing Caribbean property and casualty business within an international reinsurance environment
• Analyzing reinsurance submissions and assess the associated risks
• Calculating risk-adequate premiums and underwrite property and casualty risks
• Identifying market trends and monitor relevant primary insurance markets and key market participants
• Communication with brokers and clients and support business relationships in Spanish and English
• Maintaining existing client relationships and develop new contacts through business travel and industry events

You come equipped with

• Degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Mathematics or a comparable field of study
• Several years of professional experience within the reinsurance industry
• Strong analytical skills and confident use of Excel
• Fluent Spanish and English language skills, together with a willingness to acquire basic German language skills
• Interest in travelling to the Caribbean (approximately two to four times per year) for client visits and market events, with travel planned flexibly within the team
• Confidence in handling complex issues, strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to an international environment
