About usLocated within the faculty of the Institute of Education, the Centre for Languages & International Education (CLIE) is a distinct teaching department, which offers a range of degree preparation and foundation courses for international students, as well as a diverse portfolio of summer schools, Language Modules for undergraduate students and Evening Courses for UCL students, staff and the wider community. The Evening Courses programme teaches the skills to communicate effectively across eight different languages from beginner to advanced level, attracting a mixture of students, academics and professionals and creating a varied and dynamic learning environment.
About the roleDuties cover classroom teaching and related academic activities such as lesson preparation, marking homework and examinations and maintaining teaching records. The post holder will implement the syllabus and contribute to the development of the course, as well as monitor student attendance and progress, and provide relevant feedback.
This post is
1 FTE fixed term and available from 15 September 202 5 to 30 June 2026 . The salary is UCL Grade 7 spinal point 33 (£46,796 per annum pro rata, including London Allowance).
Interviews will be conducted online via MS Teams and take place in the w/c 30th of June. A successful candidate ideally will be able to start on the
15 September or as soon as possible afterwards. To be considered, you must have the right to live and work in the UK.
