The Bermuda Conference of Seventh-day Adventist (Conference) is more than a community - we are a family of faith who believes that all people need the love, acceptance and forgiveness that is found in Christ Jesus. Working under the direction of the Conference President, the Bilingual Pastor (English/Spanish) will:
- Provide strong biblical preaching and teaching in harmony with Seventh-day Adventist beliefs;
- Offer pastoral care, counseling, and spiritual guidance to members and the wider community;
- Lead worship services, bible studies, evangelistic meetings, and outreach initiatives;
- Support church administration, strategic planning, and leadership development;
- Work collaboratively with elders, departmental leaders, and conference administration;
- Encourage discipleship, youth engagement, and community service.
Applicant requirements:
- A Master of Divinity degree from the SDA Theological Seminary.
- Ordained into the gospel ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
- Twenty (20) years of denominational pastoral experience.
Applicants must possess:
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to minister effectively across diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to work collaboratively, independently and manage competing priorities under pressure.
Required uploads:
- A certified police background check from each jurisdiction/country lived in the past 10 years.
- A certified copy of Ordination Certificate.
Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policy determinations for the Bermuda Conference.
