Job Overview

NLCS (Singapore) is seeking an enthusiastic, highly qualified, and committed French and/or Spanish Teacher to join the Senior School from August 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a leading international school that values scholarship, cultural understanding, and intellectual curiosity.

The successful candidate will be able to teach French and/or Spanish across the Senior School (Grades 6 to 12), delivering an ambitious and engaging languages curriculum that promotes linguistic confidence, intercultural awareness, and a genuine appreciation for global perspectives. They will inspire students through dynamic teaching and a passion for languages, ensuring that learners of all abilities are supported and challenged.

Applicants should clearly indicate in their application their strengths and experience in French and/or Spanish, including their confidence in teaching to advanced levels where applicable. Experience with international curricula, particularly the IB Diploma Programme, is desirable but not essential.

All members of staff at NLCS (Singapore) are expected to contribute to the wider life of the school through pastoral responsibilities, usually as a form tutor, and to take an active role in the co-curricular programme.
