We are recruiting an exceptional Head of Faculty - Modern Foreign Languages (Spanish). The position is for September2026 and is suitable for an experienced colleague. The post isfor full-time and permanent.

About the Role:To contribute to raising standards of studentachievement in the MFL subjects areas byteaching lessons and supporting the subject leaders. Further, to support theacademic teaching and pastoral functions across the school.
In a typical day, you may be:
• Delivering high-quality lessons that support the development ofknowledge and understanding of students
• Supporting subject leaders in ensuring high-quality lesson plans andschemes of work that engage and enrich students' learning
• Reporting on internal and external assessments to help determinestudents' progress and attainment
• Working with the Head of Year to support and delivering high qualitypastoral care to students
• Supporting the faculty and whole school development priorities
• Undertaking appropriate supervision before school, at break, afterschool and at lunch time as per the whole school duty rota
• Attending and engaging with continuous professional development sessionswith key stakeholders to support the development of the best possible qualityof teaching and learning
