ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a French and Spanish Teacher who is passionate about delivering an inclusive, inspiring education for every student. Languages are a popular and well-established subject at St Andrews, and with small class sizes and motivated learners, you'll have the opportunity to bring languages to life through engaging teaching approaches.
At St Andrews International School Bangkok, we believe knowing each child is at the heart of effective education. Our classrooms are supportive environments where students feel confident to explore, learn, and grow, and our teachers guide each child's unique journey.
You will support students' academic and personal development by adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs and interests. Staying current with educational best practice, you'll contribute fresh ideas to the curriculum, provide meaningful feedback to parents, and collaborate closely with colleagues and Heads of Subject to deliver cohesive learning experiences.
French and Spanish are taught from Year 3 onwards, continuing through Key Stage 3 and into IGCSE. At IB level, students may study their language as Language B, while beginners can also start French or Spanish in the Diploma Programme.
We welcome applications from both Early Career Teachers, with DfE-aligned ECF training available, and experienced educators. The ability to teach across the High School age range, including IGCSE and IB, is advantageous.
You will contribute positively to the school community by implementing assessment and reporting processes with accuracy, supervising students when required, and participating in curriculum development and professional learning. Beyond the classroom, you'll support extracurricular activities, House events, and the wider life of the school.
