Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement standards-based, student-centered lessons in Spanish, including AP-level courses
- Use a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technologies to engage students and deepen understanding
- Apply effective assessment practices that provide meaningful feedback, guide instruction, and reflect progress toward standards
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive student behavior and a strong sense of belonging
- Collaborate with colleagues across grade levels and disciplines to strengthen curriculum alignment and coherence
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support learning and community connections
- Contribute to co-curricular activities and the wider life of the school
- Reflect on practice and seek opportunities for professional growth, innovation, and continuous improvement
RequirementsEssential Qualifications:- Current, valid teaching certification
- Experience teaching Spanish
- Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications:- Master's degree in Education or related field
- Prior international teaching experience
- North American Teaching certification
- Experience teaching at the high school level
