Make your mark in Claims Global Operation - Third Party Management

Our team Claims Global Operation - Third Party Management provides first-class advice to colleagues and functions across the organization - ensuring AIG navigates an ever-changing landscape that spans state, federal, and international lines. The team has a multidimensional impact, from managing third-party vendors, to overseeing and controlling relationships with external entities that provide goods, services or support to our organization.

How you will create an impact
  • You will evaluate third-party vendors to identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact the organization's operations or reputation.
  • You will monitor vendor compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations.
  • You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure vendor controls are effective.
  • You will be responsible in ensuring that vendor contracts are properly drafted, reviewed, executed, and monitored throughout their lifecycle.
  • You will draft contract templates and customize clauses based on project needs.
  • You will review bills submitted by law firms for reasonableness and compliance with Litigation Management Guidelines, ensuring that AIG pays only for charges that are reasonable and appropriate.
  • You will audit vendor invoices for errors, overcharges, or non-compliance with contract terms.
  • You will process approved invoices for payment in the system.
  • You will maintain a daily spreadsheet reflecting the amounts submitted by the law firm, adjustments made, payment details and any exceptions noted.
  • You will contribute data used to generate key performance metric reports identifying trends to be communicated to law firms, vendors, and legal audit teams or claim professionals.
  • You will be responsible in reviewing internal claim systems for claim details, communicating with claim professionals to determine prior authorization or exception approval, and researching terminology on the internet.
  • You are expected to perform tasks with sound judgment and discretion and make critical decisions independently and judiciously.
  • You will ensure completion of tasks and assignments in a high-volume work environment.
  • You will ensure that assigned targets are met in accordance with SLA.
  • You will ensure that the quality of work complies with predefined parameters.
  • You are expected to adhere to established attendance schedules.


What you'll need to succeed
  • Minimum Education: Law degree (JD or LL.B), Legal Management, or a related field. Paralegal certification or equivalent training is acceptable. Passing the Bar is not required.
  • You must be skilled in contract review, and ensuring contractual accuracy, with solid foundation in contract law principles.
  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Spanish language is required to support cross-border communication and documentation.
  • Strong analytical and risk assessment skills.
  • Computer-literate and a proficient user of MS Office Suite and other applications.
  • Basic knowledge of using the Internet, Web Browser, Search Engine, etc.
  • Good interpersonal and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Tenacity to follow-through on open items to complete assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced/time-sensitive environment.
  • Any experience in the BPO, financial services, and/or insurance industry is a plus.
  • Must be willing to work on mid-shift / flexible schedules.
  • With high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision.
  • Self-motivated and ability to take initiative.
  • Works effectively within a team to accomplish goals, take action that respects the needs of others and those of the organization.
  • Plans, prioritizes and schedules your own work to ensure timely completion.
