Main purpose of the position:

The purpose of this position is to act as a Subject Matter Expert within the PTP function, ensuring high-quality invoice processing, process standardization, and operational excellence across assigned Operating Units. The role provides technical guidance, drives process optimization initiatives, supports complex issue resolution, and serves as a role model within the team.

What will you do:
  • Oversee and ensure the accurate processing, validation, and booking of PO-based supplier invoices for assigned Operating Units
  • Monitor invoice workflows and proactively resolve issues preventing timely booking
  • Investigate and resolve complex discrepancies related to purchase orders, goods receipts, or invoice details
  • Act as escalation point for operational issues and reconciliation matters
  • Lead supplier reconciliation activities and ensure timely resolution of outstanding balances
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to obtain clarifications, supporting documentation, and alignment on corrective actions
  • Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive measures to minimize recurring issues
  • Identify and implement process optimization and efficiency improvements within the PTP function
  • Maintain accurate system records and ensure proper documentation in line with audit and compliance requirements
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, procedures, and established KPIs
  • Respond to supplier inquiries and audit requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration and process alignment
  • Provide structured coaching, technical guidance, and day-to-day operational support to junior and associate team members
  • Support onboarding, knowledge transfer, and best practice standardization within the PTP team


Who will you work with:

Business stakeholders, PTP Managers, Leaders, Project Managers, Associates

Key experience & qualifications:
• Very good knowledge of both Spanish and English (min. B2 level) in speech and writing, allowing for easy communication with external and internal stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree or student of economics, finance, accounting, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Accounting (Shared Service Centre environment is desirable)
• Strong expertise in PO invoice processing and reconciliation processes
• Solid knowledge within MS Office (Excel, Word, Internet tools)
• Proficient Excel skills (advanced functions, data analysis, reporting)
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a structured and deadline-driven environment
• Experience in process improvement or optimization initiatives
• Intermediate Catalan is a plus but not mandatory
