We are seeking an experienced
(Senior) Statutory Reporting & Compliance Specialist (m/f/d) to join our dynamic finance team in Warsaw. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute significantly to our financial operations and reporting processes.
ResponsibilitiesAs part of our constant effort to create a highly performing and scalable GL Function, we are currently looking to create a Centre of Expertise in the form of a Statutory and Tax Filing team.
This initiative is driven by the increasing complexity of statutory reporting and the need to ensure compliance with US GAAP standards across multiple jurisdictions, as well as broader compliance requirements. This new team will be formed through extraction of respective activities from the current GL Team, allowing us to build a focused group of experts dedicated to statutory and tax matters.
We are now opening new positions and looking for professionals with experience in General Ledger or audit, ideally with a background in US GAAP or IFRS.
Key Responsibilities Include:- Coordinating audits and working closely with external advisors and institutions
- Preparing tax declarations and analyzing CIT, VAT, and TP positions
- Supporting tax planning and process optimization
- Participating in international projects and system implementations
- Collaborating with internal teams (e.g. Accounting, Tax, Operations)
- Handling respective compliance and reporting matters
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements in line with local regulations
QualificationsEducation & Professional Certifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field
- Professional certification (ACCA, or equivalent) is nice to have
Experience- 3-4 years of progressive experience in statutory accounting, tax compliance, or related field
- Experience with multiple jurisdictions and international tax matters preferred
- Big Four accounting firm or multinational corporation experience, highly valued
- Proven track record in statutory reporting and tax compliance roles
Technical Skills- Expert knowledge of local statutory accounting principles and tax regulations
- Strong understanding of IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards
- Very good written and spoken English and Spanish skills; any additional language is considered a plus.
- Proficiency in tax compliance software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Excel skills, including complex financial modeling and data analysis
- Experience with tax technology solutions and automation tools
- Knowledge of transfer pricing principles and documentation requirements
