About this Role
PART TIME 4 HOURS MAX PER WEEK , FIXED TERM CONTRACT FROM 15th SEPTEMBER 2026 UP TO END OF MAY 2027.
The candidate appointed will be a native level speaker of Spanish and will help students in the preparation for their speaking exams and develop their cultural knowledge. The candidate will have a desire to be part of a team of committed professionals within the MFL Department. You will be required to work for 4 hours per week, during lunch time over 3 days a week, term time only. This position is based on an hourly rate commensurate with experience. This role does not come with sponsorship.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

- Conduct one to one sessions with SixthForm students to assist them with the speaking component of their AQA A Level examination.
- Conduct small group sessions with students inForms 3 -5 to assist them with thespeaking component of their IGCSE examination.
- Maintain knowledge of IGCSE and AQA A-Levelrequirements, with particular regard to the speakingelements.
- Promote Modern Foreign Languages tostudents.
- Motivate, encourage and provideconstructive feedback to students.
- Be familiar with the aims and objectives ofthe Department as outlined in the departmental handbook.
- Attend suitable INSET as required under theguidance of the Head of Department.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of childrenand young persons for whom you are responsible and with whom you come intocontact.
- Undertake such other comparable duties asthe Headmaster requires from time to time.
