Job DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced
Spanish Teacher to join our Middle Years Programme (MYP) team from
1 April 2026. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop strong communication skills in Spanish while fostering intercultural understanding and global mindedness.

Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons within the MYP framework (Years 6-10 or equivalent).Develop students' reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in Spanish.Design inquiry-based learning experiences aligned with MYP objectives and assessment criteria.Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.Promote international mindedness and intercultural awareness.Contribute to curriculum planning and collaborative departmental work.Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents.Participate in school events, professional development, and wider school initiatives.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Spanish, Modern Languages, or a related field.
Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).Experience teaching Spanish at middle school level (MYP experience preferred).Strong understanding of inquiry-based and student-centred learning.Excellent classroom management skills.Ability to contribute positively to a collaborative international team.High level of written and spoken English proficiency.Commitment to safeguarding and child protection standards.Desirable- IB MYP training or certification.
