You are:

A Senior Attorney with Information Technology deep domain expertise, who can draft, review, negotiate, and close client-facing, complex IT contracts. You will lead, manage, review, and negotiate all UST contracts in support of new and existing business, including vendor agreements pursuant to client agreements
We are looking for an attorney with over 10 years of in-house and/or law firm experience, helping customers succeed.

The Opportunity:
• Work with internal clients located globally in multiple time zones.
• Work with executive leadership, both internally and externally.
• Negotiate complex contracts with opposing counsel.
• Provide direction to outside counsel on routine matters

• Supervise paralegals, attorneys, and other legal professionals.

What you need :
• Juris Doctor Degree required
• Licensed attorney with an active membership of a state bar.

• At least 10 years of in-house or law firm experience in commercial and governmental contracts and transactions
• Advanced understanding of business principles and functions in the information technology space. Experience with XaaS, Licensing, BOT, MSA, etc
• A clear understanding of legal principles regarding the protection of intellectual property including service mark protection and software licensing
• Experience in medium-complex research assignments and conducting internal presentations < <

F luency in written and oral Spanish (Bilingual English and Spanish) preferred. <

Qualified to practice Spanish or LATAM law preferred

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $149,000 - $186,000

Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
