An opportunity has arisen to joinour outstanding Modern Foreign Languages team in our forward thinking andaspirational school based in Warwickshire's beautiful, medieval market town ofHenley-in-Arden. You'll be joining our passionate and exceptionally highperforming MFL department which nurtures and develops our students' languageskills. Ourdepartment's GCSE results last year were 85% pass rate, with 50% at grade 6 andabove in French. We are looking for apassionate teacher to join us to continue this transformative success for ourstudents. Our MFL department also nurtures a love of subject through a range ofinnovative teaching techniques and activities, including project weeks and arange of active learning activities.

Main Purpose of the Role:

• Beaccountable and responsible for the learning and progress of pupils in assignedclasses ensuring excellence for and from all
• Work with the Head of MFL and wider team to further develop our strongTeaching and Learning practice in the department
• Workproactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with learners,parents/carers, governors, other staff and external agencies in the bestinterests of pupils
• Actwithin the statutory frameworks, which set out professional duties andresponsibilities and in line with the duties outlined in accordance with schoolpolicies, the current School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document and TeacherStandards (2012)
• Responsiblefor promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people withinthe school.
