The role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, forward-thinking, and high-achieving MFL Department dedicated to delivering exceptional learning experiences across the whole school. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and innovative environment where teachers collaborate to inspire and challenge students of all abilities. Our department is passionate about creating varied, engaging, and memorable opportunities for students to thrive academically and personally.

We are committed to inclusive teaching practices that motivate and challenge every learner, using strategies that cater to diverse needs. The successful candidate will teach French and Spanish across both primary and secondary groups. Therefore, they should feel confident teaching Spanish and French up to IGCSE level, and ideally, one or both languages up to Year 13. Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE (Years 10 and 11) and expertise in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (Years 12 and 13) are highly desirable. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to nurturing a love of learning in all students. They will value collaboration, kindness, and integrity, while placing student success and wellbeing at the heart of their practice.

We are committed to providing a world-class, safe, happy environment in which children and young people can thrive and learn. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our pupils irrespective of race, ability, religion, gender, or culture.

All post holders in regulated activity (having regular unsupervised contact with children) are subject to appropriate national and international vetting procedures, including satisfactory criminal record checks from both your country of residence/birth and any country of residence within the last 10 years.
