APPOINTMENT of MFL Teacher (Spanish)
Salary: MPS/UPS (plus a TLR for the role of EAL Lead, for the right candidate)
Start Date: September 2026
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher of Modern Languages to play a key role teaching Spanish and French. The MFL team are experienced, motivated and passionate in delivering high standards to all learners. We strive to provide all students with cultural and linguistic awareness of other countries and languages by studying real world topics; to offer students opportunities to develop resilience and independence so that they can fulfil their potential by becoming confident, capable and articulate linguists and to maintain a positive and enjoyable learning environment which encourages success at all levels. Furthermore, we expect our learners to be actively engaged and enthused by both the linguistic and cultural elements of our schemes of work.
The successful candidate will need to have a passion for teaching and excellent subject knowledge in Spanish, with the ability to teach KS3 for Spanish and French and A Level Spanish, a strong understanding of the curriculum and a commitment to continuing professional development. They will also be an excellent communicator who can enthuse and inspire pupils. For the right candidate, there is also an opportunity to take on the additional role of EAL Lead, which can be discussed at interview.
