Teacher of MFL - Spanish (maternity cover contract)

Longfield Academy is seeking to appoint a Teacher of MFL (Spanish), joining us from September 2025.

This is a truly fantastic opportunity for a passionate Teacher of MFL to become part of an established, collaborative and successful team. You'll deliver engaging lessons that inspire students to explore and understand the world around them.

• An excellent teacher who is passionate about learning and has strong subject knowledge;
• A keen advocate for the importance of MFL education as part of the curriculum;
• Have a high level of teaching experience and delivery of results, or are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for their first position;
• Collaborative, able to build strong professional relationships;
• Able to motivate and inspire students and staff to achieve their full potential;
• Energetic and have a 'can-do' attitude;
• Confident, with strong career aspirations;

Note: Whilst the position is offered on a maternity cover basis initially of up to one year, every effort will be made to offer a substantive position thereafter, either at Longfield Academy or within the wider family of academies across Leigh Academies Trust. Being part of Leigh Academies Trust

As of 1st September 2024, our Trust comprises 33 geographically organised academies (17 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating more than 24,000 students and employing 4,000 talented staff.
