At Haberdashers' Girls' School, we believe that language learning opens doors; to cultures, ideas, confidence and curiosity. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and inspiring Teacher of Spanish to join our vibrant Junior School community on a 0.5 FTE basis from September 2026.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a passionate linguist and excellent classroom practitioner to nurture a love of Spanish amongst our Key Stage 2 pupils. The successful candidate will bring energy, warmth and imagination to their teaching, creating engaging lessons that encourage pupils to communicate confidently and develop genuine enjoyment of languages from an early age.
Our pupils are bright, curious and eager to learn, and they thrive in an environment where academic ambition is matched by kindness, creativity and fun. We are therefore looking for a colleague who can inspire young learners, build positive relationships and contribute fully to the life of a busy and successful Junior School.
The role would suit an experienced teacher or an outstanding early career teacher with a strong academic background and a commitment to delivering high-quality, pupil-centred teaching. Experience of teaching Spanish within a primary or prep school setting would be advantageous.
