As a Transcreation and Technical Translation Specialist, you will be part of Eaton's Language Services organization, working within the Translation and Transcreation Team in the Marketing division and collaborating closely with the Product Data Translation Team and Master Data Management. Together, these teams ensure that Eaton's product information and marketing content are available in clear, accurate, and high-quality local language versions for customers across Europe.

In this role, you will translate and adapt a wide range of content, from marketing materials to structured technical product data published on Eaton.com and in related documentation. You will work with colleagues from Segment Marketing, product divisions, country organizations, web publishing teams, and master data specialists to ensure that content is delivered smoothly, on time, and with full alignment to Eaton's tone of voice and brand standards.

A key part of your work will involve supporting the translation of product data stored in Eaton's Product Information Management (PIM) system. You will help build and maintain translation memories, terminology resources, and linguistic assets that support automation and enable fast, consistent multilingual publication of product pages and datasheets.

By joining the Language Services team, you will play an important role in shaping how Eaton communicates with customers in multiple countries and contribute directly to improving the digital product experience for users across Europe.

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality translation, transcreation, subtitling, and copywriting support in the core languages (EN, DE, ES, IT, FR, NL, PL, RU, RO). Most transcreation work will start from US English. Content types include brochures, emails, website copy, video and audio scripts, and technical product data.
• Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and support them in using the Globallink translation platform.
• Deliver translation and transcreation projects using Eaton's internal workflows and platforms, ensuring smooth processes and strong stakeholder satisfaction.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, implement reviewer feedback, and ensure coherence, clarity, and consistency in all content.
• Maintain and continuously improve Eaton's terminology resources for your language.
• Maintain translation memories and create new ones for technical attributes to support future automation and improve translation quality.
• Apply SEO keywords where needed to strengthen the performance of marketing materials.
• Collaborate with the translation marketing team leader, project managers, and central teams to plan workloads and manage incoming translation requests.
• Act as a guardian of Eaton's brand voice in your target language by maintaining and improving the style guide in cooperation with country teams and central marketing.
• Perform quality checks on published web content and proactively identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BSc/BA); a technical degree is a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in translation, transcreation, or a similar language-focused role.
• Fluent Spanish (C1 level) and strong English proficiency.

Skills

• Understanding of technical terminology related to electrical products and applications.
• Experience working with CAT tools such as Globallink or Wordfast.
• Familiarity with terminology management tools.
• Basic translation theory and ability to work with structured product data.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
